Miss Kerri Sullivan
Owner/ Director
Kerri Sullivan has more than 25 years of teaching experience. She's been in love with dance since she appeared on stage for the first time at the age of 3. Miss Kerri has trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance. In her younger years, Kerri danced in California, winning regional and state competitions. At the age of 14, she was the dance assistant for adult workshops at U.C. Irvine. In high school, she was the lead dancer and assistant choreographer in many musicals. Kerri received multiple dance scholarships, including those from Penrod Arts and Dance Kaleidoscope and was accepted into IU's Contemporary Dance Touring Company as a freshman in college. When Kerri isn't teaching dance, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken and two daughters, Kaiti and Kylie, who are both instructors at the studio.

Owning a dance studio is something that she has always dreamed of doing and is thrilled to be living her dream!
Miss Kylie
Instructor
Kylie Sullivan has danced since the age of two. After 17 years of dancing competitively, she has found a love for teaching ballet, lyrical, jazz and contemporary. Kylie is passionate about to making Impulse inclusive and accessible for everyone and can often be found teaching with her Service Dog, Finnegan. When she isn't dedicating her time to her dancers, you can find her curled up with a book and coffee in her reading nook.
Miss Kaiti
Instructor
Kaiti Sullivan began dancing competitively at the age of 7 and has been teaching for 16 years. She grew up learning from her mother, Kerri, who was her instructor for most of her dancing career. Throughout that time Kaiti competed in Indianapolis studios, training extensively in many genres of dance. Upon graduating she was accepted into the Ball State Dance Program. Currently, she teaches jazz, tap, contemporary and lyrical at recreational and competitive levels. Outside of the dance world, Kaiti is a freelance photographer who enjoys photographing portraits, weddings and photojournalism assignments for local and national publications.
Miss Ginger
Instructor
Ginger Miller began her training at age three, studying tap under Kerri Sullivan. She danced competitively for a myriad of years, eventually transitioning to professional performances with
Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre at age thirteen. Ginger trained under Gregory Hancock for four years, dancing various corps de ballet roles, as well as the principal role of Klara in The Nutcracker and the soloist role of Orphan Girl in Every Grain of Sand. At age fifteen, Ginger moved away from home to attend The Rock School for Dance Education, a prestigious ballet school in Philadelphia. She trained at The Rock School for two years, studying under ballet
legends such as: Bojan and Stephanie Spassoff, Natalya Lushina Zeiger, Telmo Moreira, Jody Anderson, and Justin Allen. She also had the privilege of representing The Rock School at Youth
America Grand Prix, where she danced Henriette Act I, a variation from Raymonda. Throughout her training, Ginger has had the opportunity to attend Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s summer
program in New York City, as well as Dutch Nationale Ballet’s summer program in Amsterdam. At these intensives, she trained under the direction of world-renowned teachers from the Bolshoi
Ballet Academy and the Dutch Nationale Ballet, as well as esteemed guest teachers such as Nanette Glushak and Wayne McGrgeor. Ginger was offered trainee positions with Ballet Met
and Charlotte Ballet, and was admitted to the 2020 Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary summer program. She is so excited to teach and share her love of ballet with students at Impulse Dance
Academy!
Miss Allison
Instructor
Miss Allison has danced and cheered competitively for more than 13 years. Now she teaches tumble and jazz classes at Impulse. Miss Allison's educational background is in applied behavioral analysis and elementary education. When she isn't dedicating her time and energy at the studio, she is a behavior coach for Center Grove Community School Corporation.
Miss Sarah
Instructor
Sarah Sanders began dancing at the age of 4 and continued competitively for 10 years with The Dance Company. In 2020, Sarah enrolled her daughter and son into classes at Impulse, where she joined in on the fun, herself, by participating in an advanced adult tap class. Finding the joy and love for dancing again, Miss Sarah then joined the Impulse staff as an instructor of many genres and ages on both the recreational and competitive team, including Mini Nuggets, Nuggets, tap and jazz. During her free time, you can find Miss Sarah enjoying time with her family, Nick, Beau and Boston. Miss Sarah is so excited to be a part of the Impulse Dance Studio's teaching staff and can't wait to share her joy of dancing with all of the students!
Miss Chelsea
Instructor
Chelsea Cumming grew up in Indianapolis and studied at IUPUI, where she attended their dance program to work towaard a dance minor. Chelsea trained at various dance schools in the area, IUPUI's dance program, Moving Company, and Motus Dance Company. Throughout her years dancing, she has excelled in ballet, pointe, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and modern (Horton and Graham). Chelsea danced with the local pre-professional group Create Freedom for 8 years. Her other artistic endeavors are photography, painting, poetry, and music. Outside of the studio, her other profession is teaching 5th grade.
Miss Erynn
Instructor
Erynn Kehoe danced competitively for more than 15 years. Her training focused primarily on ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and musical theater. Now, she teaches hip hop and jazz. She is currently a nursing student at the University of Indianapolis and has continued her dance education with dance classes in college. After a long day of classes and teaching, she loves going home to her three fur babies - Mikey, Luca, and Kobe.
Miss Layla
Instructor
Miss Layla has been dancing since the age of 2! This year she will be completing her final year dancing with the competitive team as a Senior at Impulse. When she isn't working on her high school diploma, taking photos, or working hard in her own competitive classes, she assists and teaches!
